Eslam Anthony Shams

I have had the pleasure of seeing Eslam Shams on stage. He is
brilliant. His presence of mind is superb. He is 15 to 20 years ahead
of his time in the Persian community

I kept hitting the Play button on the WMP viewer for Eslam Shamis. It
said "ready" but nothing every played. Shame.

He is NOT funny. I saw him live and he basically sucks. First of all
his english is bad and speaks with a persian accent and then he makes
funn of those who have a persian accent. Second of all, he uses flash
cards! When you do stand-up comedy you cannot use notes; that's the
whole point of stand-up comedy. Third of all, he forgets his jokes. He
also explains his jokes. He is just NOT funny. and one more thing: HE
IS THE ONLY "COMEDian", who videotapes himself.

He might have the persian accent but he is one the first few who
started this and more power to him and he is not the only comedian who
videotapes himself, they all do.I do stand up myself and i know. If
you think it is easy why don't you try it once. Mr shams ignore this
idiot you are very funny.

Thank you Shams, All of your jokes were funny. You are one of the
first persians who is doing comedian show, so well done. Are you
planning to come to Australia? Please do so as there is a lot of
people who like to meet you. Thanks again, and please ignore negative

It's a shame that this guy made something he really blows at into his
career... wow he's terrible recently saw him live and he was bitching
at the crowd for not laughing or cooperating with his jokes.. maybe
it's cuz you suck!

Genius is 1% inspiration & 99% perspiration (Thomas A. Edison) With
that in mind, not everyone recognizes genius even if it bit them in
the ass. Eslam Shams's mind works way too fast for people who don't
get him. The negative comments posted here are PROBABLY who like to
see a show with Dambal o Doombool. Thier brain?!?! can not comprehend
the the speed Shams's brain thinks. Therefore, you run into comments
that are against him. He is not the best but in his community, he is
second to none

I had the pleasure of having Mr. Shams @ my son's Barmitzvah party. He
is absolutely the best Persian comedian I have ever seen. When I saw
him for the first time on stage, he reminded me of a cross between
George Carlin and the great Robin Williams. That's why I hired him for
my son's Barmitzvah. Aghaye Shams, Taa penny aakhri ke behet
pardakhtam va shire' maadaret HALAALET basheh.

I caught this by accident...I can't believe people actually pay to see
this guy.This guy is bad dude!!!and I mean bad!I don't care about his
accent and stuff just his material...sucks. Those who think this guy
is great probably haven't seen any stand up performances other than
him (which I would hesitate even calling it stand up). cheers
