The very highly anticipated Google Instant Messaging software is finally out: Google Talk. Some of its useful features include:
- High-quality voice chat that works even behind our firewall at work!
- Close/Open little chat windows only by clicking on their title bar
- Consolidate last message by one person, which is good and bad. It's good since it saves chat space, and it's bad because it doesn't have a separator for each individual message.
- Works over XMPP protocol. Neat.
Of course, there are bad things like:
- No "Remove from Taskbar when Minimized" option.
- Its user interface still needs some work.
Oh, and I finally graduated today! Yay!
