Muir Woods National Monument is
the best tree-lovers monument that could possibly be found in all the forests of the world
according to John Muir.
(History)
We went on a ten-mile hike yesterday. Well, it wasn't supposed to
be that long; but thanks to our professional hiker and genius Navigator
"Bahram",
we somehow got lost during our adventure to find the ocean without a map and
had to go around the park and roll down as quickly as possible to beat the sunset.
But seriously, it was a pretty good hike, lots of old-growth redwood, mysterious
rivers and beautiful wild flowers.
Oh, here are some pictures from the last hiking trip to
Castle Rock.
