I was watching KRON4 Bay Area's new station a few minutes ago and they reported that it could be a sign of warmth between Iran and the U-S, it's a change, after Mohammad Khatami, Iranian President said Iranian would accept American aid to help it recover from a devastating earthquake that has killed 245 people. Guess earthquake (a big one) might be one of the few things that possibly could heat up the diplomatic ties and relations between Iran and the United States!
Iran is one of the world's most quake-prone regions. Since 1990, more than 41,000 people have been killed in three major earthquakes there. Hundreds of people were killed or injured as an earthquake and a series of aftershocks rocked northern Iran Saturday, Iranian media reports said. The National Earthquake Information Center in Golden, Colorado, said the quake's magnitude was 6.3.
