Deepest Pool In The World

From WikiPedia:

Nemo 33 is a recreational diving center in Brussels, Belgium that is home to
the world's deepest swimming pool. The pool itself consists of a submerged
structure with flat platforms at various depth levels. The pool has two large
flat-bottomed areas at depth levels of 5m (16 ft) and 10m (32 ft), and a large
circular pit descending to a depth of 33m (108 ft). It is filled with
2,500,000 litres of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water maintained
at 30°C (86°F) and contains several simulated underwater caves at the 10m depth level. There are numerous underwater windows that allow outside visitors to look into the pools at various depths. The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multi-purpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility, and opened in 2004.

You can take only a few items of your own dive kit (computer, mask, pool fins) but no BCD, fins that require booties, regulators(unless they have an integrated air linked to your computer - but no DIN fittings at all). torches, etc... You are not allowed to practice any skills unless you have an instructor in your group.

WOW im really intrested in going into a really deep pool. I dont know
if ill be able to handle one like this becuase of the tunnel in the
center after 16 feet is way to much. It would be a really good place
for peope who are learning to dive in really deep parts of the ocean
and for people like me that are intrested in going. I know im not
going because i live in USA so well i hope i get to go there one day.

Reminds me of the submarine escape training tank in New London. Sans
scuba, "Blow and Go" from 100 feet deep to the surface. And it was
free!

I've had dreams about careening through the pool with endless explorer
opportunities.
Kayte on February 24, 2013 at 06:50
I was there at the bottom a few hours ago :) I'm a AOW diver, and it
was really amazing, 34,8 metres of depth!! But on these photos the
pool is empty, when I was there it was full of people (over a hundred I
think), and you don't have much place to move, you must permanently
take care not to hit or kick or beat someone else, or to sit down on
someone's head... But besides that it is a spectacular experience for
every diver ;)
Lore on March 01, 2013 at 03:04
Boy I would love to try and free dive that.
Zacjk on April 14, 2013 at 06:16

want answers.

waow... its amazing... i've never seen before.
ALI MASUT on May 06, 2013 at 06:46
The Thai restaurant here at the pool is nice too. You have to rent
BCs and bottles etc. Another fun pool is Dive4Life across the border
in Getmany.
Sally Webster on June 06, 2013 at 03:40
Well I think they should build an underwater zip line. That would be
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
adreanna on June 20, 2013 at 09:14
There sure are alot of sad americans on here, cause they live in the
US and belgium is really far away.
Haha funny on July 08, 2013 at 04:18
How the fuck would an underwater zip line work!!
WTF on July 08, 2013 at 04:20
I sat here and read through all the comments. I must say, this is the
most moronic bunch of fucking idiots that I've seen comment on
something. For every one comment that half-ass makes sense, there's
fifty that seem like they're penned by an illiterate 8 year-old
Honduran...

I learned diving in a simular building in Northern germany. Great
experience
trisham7777 on August 19, 2013 at 06:53
It's awesome it's really awesome I would definitely visit it whenever
I get a chance to visit Belgium what a construction. Head's off John
Beernaerts
Rashi Jain on August 23, 2013 at 05:29
Someone asks the question "where is this?" Well hey, I'm a moron too
so here's a few of my own: What's the name of this place? Is it used
for recreational diving? How deep is it? Is the water
chlorinated? Are there any simulated caves in the structure? What
year was it built? What is the temperature of the water? How much
water does it hold? Can I take DIN fittings with my dive kit? Are
there numerous underwater windows that allow outside visitors to look
into the pools at various depths?
Luke on October 17, 2013 at 03:41
I come here just to read the messed-up comments.
Cheese-Madame on November 02, 2013 at 10:53

Shannon on December 17, 2013 at 07:37
I HAVE TO KNOW WERE THIS IS I NEED TO GO HERE!!!!!!!
Shannon docherty on December 17, 2013 at 07:39
Now I understand why they use to say a mind is a terrible thing to
waste. If you take a second to read the article maybe you would know
where this is located and many other questions answered.
